FEATURE

09. Sorting(Put-to-Wall)

After wave picking completes, scan each product barcode — the system matches it against orders and tells you which slot to drop it in. Supports multi-user sorting, real-time progress sync, and voice-announced slot numbers — sorting errors approach zero.

Pain Points

  • Wave picking brings items from multiple orders back together — now they need to be split back to individual orders.
  • Manually cross-checking order numbers one by one? Slow, error-prone, and a nightmare in peak season.
  • Two people sorting at the same time can overwrite each other's progress — duplicate drops or missed drops go unnoticed.

Core Highlights

01

Scan to auto-match — the system tells you which slot

Scan the product barcode and the system matches against every order in the wave, calling out the slot number in real time. Supports matching by barcode, SKU, or lot. When the same SKU appears in multiple orders, the system allocates to the next-unfilled slot automatically — no human guesswork.

02

Slot dashboard syncs live — no multi-user collisions

The sorting screen shows a grid of slots, each representing an order. When multiple operators work the same wave, every scan updates the shared dashboard in real time — who scanned what, which slot is short, all visible to the whole team. No duplicate drops, no missed drops.

03

Voice + pop-up alerts — heads up, you know where to drop

After each scan the system announces "Slot 3" by voice — hands stay on the product. If the warehouse is too noisy, turn on pop-up alerts: the slot number shows full-screen in big animation so a glance up confirms the drop. Slots turn green when complete.

04

Exception-item mode — sorting doesn't stop

What about scanning an item that isn't in this wave? Turn on exception-item mode: unmatched items auto-park into an empty slot for review, and the system tries to look up product info in the background. Sorting continues without interruption, exceptions get cleaned up later.

05

Custom slot grid — match your physical space

The grid layout's rows and columns are configurable (2×2 up to 10×10) to match the slots on your actual sorting rack. Small sorting table or large sorting wall — the on-screen grid mirrors the real space.

More Capabilities

  • 01One-tap reset: when sorting goes wrong and needs to restart, type a confirmation phrase and clear all progress in one tap
  • 02Order detail lookup: tap any slot to expand the order's full item list and sorting progress
  • 03Quick wave load: enter via wave number, outbound order number, or direct ID — three ways to start sorting fast
  • 04Sort history retained: every scan event is kept for 24 hours — disconnect and reconnect without losing progress
