FEATURE

03. Multi-tier Flexible Receiving

Receive pallets and cases at speed, verify cases or units flexibly on the way out — the system handles the math so the count is always right.

Pain Points

  • Two pallets plus three loose cases arrive — do you really crack them open and count one by one?
  • Or sign for the whole shipment unopened, and find the count is wrong only when it's time to ship?
  • Receiving shouldn't be limited to 'open everything' or 'open nothing'.

Core Highlights

01

Receiving: pallet, case, unit — combine freely

Define pack-spec at SKU setup — units per case, cases per pallet. Receivers enter what they actually see: 2 pallets + 3 cases + 5 units. The system does the math, compares against the inbound order, and flags differences in real time.

02

Outbound QC: scan a case or pallet barcode and verify the whole unit at once

Scan a case barcode — the contained quantity counts toward the order automatically. Scan a pallet barcode — the whole pallet counts. High-volume shipping doesn't need item-by-item scans.

03

Add unplanned items on the spot

The supplier sent something that wasn't on the PO? Scan it in. The system tags it 'unplanned' so it doesn't pollute the original receiving plan and you don't have to call the office to re-issue paperwork.

04

Discrepancies handled live, no overnight backlog

Damage, shortage, or surplus? Submit an inventory adjustment from the floor with a reason. No separate ticket, no waiting for the supervisor — exceptions are logged the moment they happen.

05

After receiving, the system tells you where to put it

Put-away isn't guesswork. The system scores by SKU clustering, floor proximity, picking-face priority, and recommends the best bin. Scan to confirm — even on day one, new staff put things in the right place.

More Capabilities

  • 01Manual close-out: partial receipts can be closed early so downstream tasks aren't blocked
  • 02Lots and expiry captured at once: lot, expiry, and manufacture date are recorded during receiving; serialized SKUs can be scanned individually
  • 03One-tap full receive: when everything's correct, confirm the entire shipment with one tap
  • 04Multi-user receiving: several operators can work the same inbound order in parallel without conflicts
